Contributor guidelines
We want people who know a corner of personal finance from the inside: tax preparers, benefits counselors, credit union staff, small-business owners, people who have navigated a program and can explain it plainly.
What we publish
Plain explanations of a rule, a program or a change, built on the official source and linked to it. Pieces that tell readers what changed, who it affects, and what they can do about it.
What we do not publish
Stock picks, price targets, product promotion, referral or affiliate links, and anything written for a company you work for or are paid by without that relationship stated at the top.
Disclosure
Every contributor discloses any financial interest in what they write about. We publish the disclosure with the piece.
